Beltrami County in Bemidji, MN was looking for a more consistent logo than the one they previously had.

 

They asked for something that would be ordinary, so I went in the direction of an outdorsy modern design.

Ideation:

- I choose a pinecone graphic because it is easily associated with nature.

​

- The second logo is more abstract.

 

The left portion represents the trees

and dirt. 

​

The right side represents fish scales, water, and diversity by using the different shades of green.
